Mont Blanc, France – On Saturday, June 10, 2017 a 53-year-old ski mountaineer lost his ski while skiing toward Brenva Pass after summiting Mont Blanc. The man was unable to self arrest, went airborne over a group of seracs, and landed in a crevasse. The skier did not survive.
